Overview

The Back Stand is two-tiered stand with 10,917 seats (5,022 in the top tier and 5,895 in the bottom tier.) Facilities are quite basic and it is very exposed to the elements. Naturally, tickets on this side are a little bit cheaper. My season ticket is in the Main Stand so I haven't sat on this side other than the occasional Cup game, but when I have I've found the crowd to be much more into the game than those in the Main Stand.

Note that the seats on the away side are in the Mixed section, so you'll have some away fans there too.

Disadvantages

A pass out (再入場券 ticket for a Cerezo Osaka match

If you have an unreserved seat, get to the stadium early and you can 'save' your spot by leaving an article of clothing or a bag on the seat*. You can then use the pass out system (再入場 - sainyuujyou) to exit the stadium and do other things in the vicinity.

The photo on the left is the ticket you will receive when leaving, and you must present it again to enter the stadium. Don't lose it, or you'll need to buy another ticket!

*This is Japan so it should be fine, but do so at your own risk. Don't leave valuables.
